hi I’m Stella

My paintings are living journals of the places that have touched my soul. After dedicating years to teaching visual arts, I finally embraced my dream in 2018: a studio of my own and the freedom to paint.

When I create, I surrender to intuition. Each brushstroke channels the vibrant energy and emotional resonance of landscapes that have moved me. My work pays homage to the Abstract Expressionist tradition while carving its own path through color and movement.

My techniques evolve with each new horizon I encounter—reflecting not just what I see, but how deeply I connect with our natural world. Each piece invites you to feel rather than merely observe, to experience rather than simply view.

"I'd love to share more about my work and help you find a piece that resonates with your own experiences. Feel free to reach out - every conversation about art enriches my own understanding."

Bachelor of Fine Arts

Graduate Diploma in Education in Visual Arts

After successfully completing a degree in Fine Arts from RMIT University and majoring in painting and ceramics, I was drawn to painting and abstraction.

The coastal dialogue between my Mordialloc studio and my ancestral Greek shores provides a wellspring of inspiration, but it's the stories embedded in these landscapes that truly drive my creative process. Sometimes these stories emerge as vibrant color fields resonating with emotional energy; other times they manifest through gestural brushwork that traces the memory of place and movement.

My work invites viewers into multiple conversations—about identity, heritage, connection, and belonging. Each collection becomes its own chapter in an ongoing exploration, with techniques and visual language that evolve organically to honor the unique essence of each narrative.

Through this approach, I create spaces for reflection where viewers might recognise echoes of their own stories—where the universal human experience of connection to place, culture, and identity speaks across stylistic boundaries.
